IPTV software and hardware manufacturer NetUP said today that the company has developed an Android-based IPTV solution.
The solution incorporates NetUP.tv, an application that can be installed on Android-based devices such as IP set-top boxes.
Android-based IP set-top boxes with the NetUP.tv application offer a graphical user interface that allows users to enjoy all IPTV services in addition to all Android features and thousands of applications such as web browsing, social networking, gaming, YouTube, Skype and Google Maps.
NetUP will be showing the solution at the IBC 2011 exhibition in Amsterdam next month.
No pricing details were announced.
