NSW: Third elderly found dead months after death

SYDNEY, Feb 21 AAP - The body of an elderly man has been found dead in a Sydney unit
months after his death - the third such discovery in just over a week in NSW.

The remains of the man were found last night in a unit in George Street in the inner-city
suburb of Redfern and may have been there more than six months, police said.

Officers went to the address at 7.45pm (AEDT) after receiving information from people
concerned for the man's safety.
